What is Future Sinai?
Future Sinai (FS) is a dedicated group of young philanthropists, in their twenties and thirties, who are passionate about advancing, promoting and fundraising for Sinai Health System.

Who do we support?
Future Sinai raises funds to help Sinai Health System provide the best patient care for those who need it most from healthy beginnings to healthy aging. Through membership fees and fundraising activities, Future Sinai raises funds to support patient care, research and innovative education at Sinai Health System which includes Mount Sinai Hospital, Bridgepoint Healthcare, Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute and Circle of Care.

We are seeking a young professional who is willing and eager to take on the volunteer leadership role of Social Media Lead.

Objective:
The Social Media Lead will develop and implement a social media strategy to increase overall reach and brand awareness for Future Sinai.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a social media strategy and plan that promote FS activities and events, engages the public and increase online presence.
  • Post bi-weekly updates to Future Sinai’s Instagram and Facebook pages, including Instagram stories and Facebook Live posts at FS events.
  • Monitor social media activity and user interactions.
  • Coordinate with FS event committees to schedule posts and promote all events equally.
  • Increase the numbers of people following our posts on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Report on social media activity and seek out opportunities to improve our engagement.
  • Attend monthly executive meetings.
  • Attend and actively promote all FS events.

Requirements:

  • Experience using social media outlets (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • Must be a self-starter, able to take initiative within their role, able to work independently.
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic and creative.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with strong attention to details.

Monthly Time commitment: 2-5 hours a month

Term: 2 years with the opportunity to extend

All Future Sinai participants donate $10 per month or $120 annually, in addition to giving their time in support of the group’s fundraising, networking and educational events.
