Max is a partner at Cassels Brock Lawyers, with a significant practice encompassing mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and international/cross-border matters, among other areas. Cassels Brock is among Canada’s largest business law practices, serving multinational, national and mid-market entities and with a particular strength in mining and natural resources.
Max is a well-known speaker and writer who has produced over 200 articles and speeches. He has chaired numerous panels for professional and industry bodies. He has a diversified academic background, having been a sessional professor of law in advanced planning at Osgoode Hall Law School for 11 years, instructing at the Admission Course of Law Society of Upper Canada and teaching at Ryerson University.
