Inseparable since their first day of medical school 20 years ago, husband and wife team Dr. Amish Jain and Dr. Poorva Deshpande work together in the Newton Glassman Charitable Foundation’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Mount Sinai Hospital, where their research centres on understanding and improving heart and brain function in our tiniest patients preemies.

Duncan gets back on his feet after a debilitating stroke
Duncan suffered a stroke that left the recently retired Chartered Professional Accountant and avid Scottish country dancer on the sidelines. After intensive inpatient and outpatient rehab at Bridgepoint Active Healthcare helped restore function and dexterity in his right leg, foot, arm and hand, Duncan is ready to get back on the dance floor.
