Over 350 guests came together to support Sinai Health's Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute (LTRI) on March 28. Dream with Scientists, presented by PearTree Financial, united Toronto’s business, philanthropic and scientific communities for an evening of awe, wonder and magic. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and donors, Dream with Scientists raised critical funds for the LTRI.
As of April 1, 2018, in an effort to be more cost-effective and environmentally-friendly, Sinai Health Foundation will send donors one tax receipt per year. This will allow us to lower our postage and printing costs and enhance our commitment to operational excellence and sustainability. Your annual tax receipt will include all donations you have made in that calendar year.
If you have any questions regarding this new policy or require an additional tax receipt, please contact the Foundation below or at 416-586-8203.
For more than 30 years, the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute (LTRI) has been an incubator for scientific discovery. The LTRI is among the world's top health research entities: per scientist, the LTRI is consistently awarded more peer-reviewed grant funding than any other medical research facility in Canada.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a chronic gastrointestinal disorder. Canada has one of the highest rates of IBS in the world, with five million Canadians currently suffering. April is IBS Awareness month and the perfect time to check out these basic guidelines for managing IBS.
Construction may be underway as part of our Renew Sinai redevelopment initiative, but our Schwartz/Reisman Emergency Centre remains open to deliver care and positive experiences to our patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A new entrance from University Avenue is now open to provide direct, 24-hour access to the emergency department.
